Hello, my name is Rochelle and I live in Coggeshall in Essex.  I live with my partner Nicholas, our two Sons and little cat Molly.  I am an Ofsted registered childminder and aim to provide children in my care with a nurturing and stimulating environment which is allowing and respectful of the whole child. 

 

I used to work for an Insurance company in the City as a tax advisor.  After having my own children, I decided to follow my love of working with children and set up my own childminding practice. 

 

I feel very passionate about children's emotional care and have an interest in children's mental health.  I also enjoy reading and researching information on attachment and learning about the effect of this on an infant and child's developing brain.  I feel this is important knowledge both for parenting and for the children in my care.  I also feel passionate about the Montessori approach.  Although I am not a trained Montessori practitioner, I have undertaken a Montessori childminding course which has helped me to implement some Montessori practices in my home environment. I plan to continue my studies in this area. Please take a look around my website and do not hesitate to contact me if you have any further questions or enquiries.
