Premises
We live in a 4 bedroomed house. I use the whole house for childminding so that children feel part of the family. We use downstairs for play and the upstairs for sleeping. We have a lovely bright playroom at the front of the house (see picture opposite) with a wide range of toys for the children to play with. We have a toilet next to the play room which is ideal for children who are potty training. In the playroom there is a quiet corner for the children to read or there are tables and chairs for drawing, painting, playdough, arts and crafts. We also have plenty of books for the children to choose from.
We have a large garden with plenty of space for the children to run around. There is an area in the garden where children can dig in the mud. In the summer we will be planting some vegetables in our mud patch. The children will help water and care for the vegetables and get to eat them when they have grown. We also have ride on toys, a sand and water table, a slide and a play house.
